Karthika signs 'Deal' with Arun Vijay

Radha’s daughter Karthika Nair made her debut in K.V. Anand’s ‘Ko’ starring Jiiva. After ‘Ko’ released, she signed Bharathiraja’s ‘Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum’. The shooting of this movie in which she plays a village girl, has been completed.

Her next film will be with Arun Vijay of ‘Thadayara Thakka’ fame. It is confirmed that she has signed the film titled ‘Deal’. Director Panneerselvam’s assistant Sivagnanam directs it. Thaman scores the music. The producer is Feathertouch Entertainments.

The makers had been in talks with many other actresses to play opposite Arun Vijay. Finally Karthika came up trumps.

Karthika who was reportedly on the brink of despondency with no offers coming her way for a long time, is said to be out of the gloom after signing the new film with Arun Vijay.

In her words ‘it is a jolly film.” The shooting will begin next month.
