'Kireedam' songs enthral music lovers

Chennai, Aug 7 (IANS) G.V. Prakash's new album "Kireedam" continues to be first choice of the young music lovers in the state.


The top five Tamil albums are:


1. "Kireedam" - Music Director: G.V. Prakash Kumar. It is one of the most successful albums from the teenage sensation. "Kanavellam", sung by Jayachandran and Karthik, and "Akkam pakkam" by Sadhana Sargam are making waves.


2. "Sathum Podaathay" - Music Director: Yuvan Shankar Raja. The greatest attraction of the album is the congregation of some of the best singers in the country - Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghosal and the legendary Sudha Raghunathan. An interesting album.


3. "Sivaji : The Boss" - Music Director: A.R. Rahman. There is no stopping of "Athiradee" and "Vaaji vaaji". Though composed with only the Rajni fans in mind, the album is now a craze among people of all age groups.


4. "Unnale Unnale" - Music Director: Harris Jayaraj. An excellent album aimed at Gen Next.


5. "Karuppusamy Koothagaitharar" - Music Director: Dhina. "Uppu kallu", crooned by Bombay Jayashri and Dhina himself, is a big hit.
