Madhusudanan to go global

Special effects master Madhusudanan's dream is to make a Kamal Haasan-Steven Spielburg film, or a Bruce Willis-Mani Ratnam one.

Madhusudanan, 'Madhu' to everyone in the cinema industry, made his mark in Mani Ratnam's "Alai Paayudhe" and then with stunning graphics in Kamal's "Aalavandhaan". He skyrocketed to fame as the wizard of visuals in "Lord of the Rings".

Madhu is trying to put together an international team to look at joint projects. The Hollywood factor in the team will be Peter Jackson, Tim McGovern who managed the visual effects for "Total Recall" and George Mecret who did the effects for "Anaconda" and "Cliffhanger".

They are all members of the Los Angeles Visual Effects Society and Madhusudanan is the only Indian member.
