Nikitha to star along with Anushka, Karthi

Actress Nikitha Thukral has put behind her the unsavory controversy involving her and Kannada actor Darshan and is moving ahead with her projects.

She will be in Chennai next month to take a call on an untitled project, which will see her along with Anushka and Karthi.

Nikitha was last seen in 'Muran' featuring Cheran and Haripriya. She is now doing another project connected with Cheran _ a Kannada remake of Cheran's 'Raman Thediya Seethai' which had Vimala Raman as the heroine.

After her quarrel with Darshan, Nikitha had decided not to act in Kannada films any more. A report from Bangalore on Dec.6 quoted her as saying that her name had been unnecessarily dragged into the controversy causing her mental agony. Many well-wishers had consoled her and persuaded her to change her mind. On her arrival in Bangalore from Mumbai, a large number of those present at the airport recognized her and greeted her. They held her hands and pressed her to act again. She was really moved.

Asked about 'Sangali Rayanna' in which she plays opposite Darshan, Nikitha reportedly said she was committed to it and would pick up where she had left and continue acting with Darshan and complete the film..
