Ravivarman to make 'Moscowvin Cauvery'

Veteran cinematographer Ravivarman, who won a national award for the Malayalam film "Santham", is making a Tamil film titled "Moscowin Cauvery" featuring all new faces. He has written the story, screenplay and dialogue for the film which he also directs. He handles the camera too.


As a popular cinematographer, Ravivarman has to his credit more than 20 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The Tamil films included "Anniyan", "Vettaiyadu Vilayadu" and the forthcoming Kamal-starrer "Dasavatharam".


"Mowcowvin Cauvery" is a fascinating love story narrated in a manner that will captivate all sections of the people, it is said. The film mirrors the present-day youth's outlook on life and the prospects of their future. Vairamuthu has written the lyrics and debutant S.S. Daman scores the music. Anthony is the editor. Kanal Kannan is the action director.


T. Rameshbabu produces the film which is being shot in Canada, Italy and some other foreign countries. The banks of the river Cauvery and scenic spots in Kerala are also among the locations. The last phase of shooting will take place in Chennai.
