Sonu Sood signs on Sundar C's 'Madha Gaja Raja'

‘Screen villain’ Sonu Sood has bagged a role in Director Sundar C’s upcoming film ‘Madha Gaja Raja’ (MGR). He last acted in Simbu-starrer ‘Osthe’.

Sonu joins actors Vishal, Karthika Nair, Anjali and Varalaxmi in the film, which has also Santhanam in the comedy role.

Sonu Sood, who is known for playing negative characters in South Indian films, will do the role of an industrialist who rules the City and with his money and muscle power, he seeks to dominate the country’s politics.

Vijay Anthony is the cinematographer while Richard Nathan is the cinematographer.

MGR is touted as a comedy flick. Sundar C has announced the project soon after the release of his last film ‘Kalakalappu’. Taapse, who was originally roped in to play opposite Vishal, has dropped out citing dates problem.
