Uthamaputhiran music in stores from today

The music launch of 'Uthamaputhiran', starring Dhanush and Genelia will take place today at Chennai. The movie, which is a remake of the Telugu superhit 'Ready' is getting ready for a Diwali release. The film is directed by Mithran R Jawahar has music by Vijay Antony who is one of the most wanted composers in Tamil now.

Mithran R Jawahar had worked with Dhanush earlier in two Telugu remakes, 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' and 'Kutty'. While 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' was a hit, 'Kutty' didn't do quite well at the box office. So all eyes are now on Uthamaputhiran, which promises to be a fun-filled entertainer. The film is also being remade in Hindi with Salman Khan and Asin in lead roles.
