'Vaala Meenukkum' still on top

Chennai, May 16 (IANS) Even after a month, the song "Vaala Meenukkum....", rendered by Gana Ulaganathan, continues to entertain music lovers in Tamil Nadu.

The top five Tamil albums are:

1. "Chithiram Pesuthadi" - Music: Sundar C. Babu. No other song has been able to usurp Gana Ulaganathan's song on the marriage of fish, "Vaala Meenukkum..." As a result it is still at the top.

2. "Vettayadu Vilayadu" - Music: Harris Jayaraj. So far the Goutham Menon-Harris Jayaraj team has not given any flops and their latest venture "Vettayadu Vilayadu", which is a big success, continues the trend.

3. "Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu" - Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja. Another hit from Yuvan. Though the film is disappointing, the album is enthralling music lovers.

4. "Godfather" - Music: A.R. Rahman. After a long gap, a Rahman album has recharged the market.

5. "Pattiyal" - Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is a huge success and so is the album.
