Film: "Samba"; Music: Mani Sharma; Singers: Shankar Mahadevan, S.P. Charan,

Mano, Kartick, Ganga, Swarnalatha, Sujatha and Mahalaxmi

After musical hits like "Aadi" and "Allari Ramudu", ace composer Mani Sharma

teams up with reigning film star NTR Jr to produce a mass-centric album for

the Telugu film "Samba".

The album opens with fast-paced "Dam Dama Re...Samba" sung by Shankar

Mahadevan, targeted at NTR Jr's fan following in particular.

The S.P. Charan-Ganga duet "Thagilinadidabba..." is again a foot-tapping

number. This is followed by "Kitha Kithalu", rendered by Mano and

Swarnalatha to a very catchy tune.

The real chartbuster, however, is "Nandamuri Chandama" by S.P. Charan and

Sujatha. "Laksembar Lux sundari..." sung by Kartick and Mahalaxmi is easy

on the ears.

The final Tipni-Chitra number "Namaste Namaste..." is targeted at the masses

even more than the other contents of the album.
