Nivin Pauly in the remake of 'Ulidavaru Kandente'

Basking in the success of ‘Premam’, Nivin Pauly is all set to play the hero in the remake of a Kannada film.

Nivin will play the lead role in the Tamil and Malayalam remakes of ‘Ulidavaru Kandente’. The movie will be directed by Gautham Ramachandran and scripted by Rakshit Shetty.

The Kannada film released last year has gained much critical applause and the movie was also a hit in the box office. The film has also garnered three Filmfare Awards.

‘Ulidavaru Kandente’ is an anthology of five stories related to an incident; a murder and 5 stories from the perspectives of 5 different individuals. The movie is also showcased in the Cannes Film Festival.
