Nivin Pauly to essay N.N. Pillai on screen

Cinematographer-turned-director Rajeev Ravi will direct the biopic on noted playwright and actor N.N. Pillai. Nivin Pauly will essay the late dramatist in the film.

“Nivin, Hope your special day brings you all that your heart desires! Looking forward to seeing you this year as N Narayana Pillai, the legendary humanist, freedom fighter, dramaturge and actor...,” Rajeev Ravi posted on his Facebook page. Incidentally, he announced the project on Nivin Pauly’s birthday.

“Extremely happy to be associated for an exciting project master craftsman #RajeevRavi! This is truly an honour!,” Nivin tweeted on Wednesday.

N.N. Pillai, who is the father of actor Vijayaraghavan, has acted in films like “Godfather” and “Nadodi.”
