Nivin Pauly's Richie teaser crosses 7 million views

The recent testimonial evidence of his growing popularity in Tamil Nadu is the trailer of Nivin Pauly’s upcoming film Richie that marks the entry of Nivin’s into Kollywood for the 2nd time after Alphonse Puthren’s Neram. This film is the Tamil remake of the Kannada film Ulidavaru Kandanthe.

The film’s teaser which was released recently, has crossed 7 million views in four days, setting a record! The strategy to focus on social media to reach out and connect with the audience has been fruitful says the film's crew. Being shot in Tuticorin, the film's story is expected to be spun based on fisherman which is directed by Gautham Ramachandran and also features Shraddha Srinath, John Vijay, Natty and others.
