'Odiyan' set work begins in Palakkad

The set work of actor Mohanlal’s much-hyped project “Odiyan” commenced in Palakkad. The film’s art director Prasanth Madhav will create Thenkurissi village, which is part of the story, for the film.


On his Twitter page, director V.A. Shrikumar posted a photograph of the puja of the art department prior to the beginning of their work today.


“Odiyan' set work begins in Palakkad. Prasanth Madhav is going to create thenkurissi village which goes through 3 eras,” he tweeted.


Mohanlal essays the character Odiyan Manikkan in the movie and Manju Warrier plays the female lead.


Odiyan was a tribal community of Palakkad-Malabar region, which has now become extinct. Click the Movie button below for more info:
