'Padavettu' release slated for next year

Nivin Pauly-starrer 'Padavettu' will have a theatre release only in 2022. The actor informed the news through a tweet on Wednesday along with unveiling a new poster of the film, which is written and directed by Liju Krishna. But he didn't reveal the exact release date.

Nivin tweeted: "Story of Conflict... Struggle... Survival... As long as there are humans, the fight will continue. #Padavettu |2022| in cinemas near you. @YoodleeFilms @SunnyWayn @AditiBalan @ManjuWarrier4 #LijuKrishna @ShineTomChacko1 #ShammiThilakan @Bibin_paul_ @deepakdmenon #GovindVasantha."

Shammi Thilakan, Aditi Balan and Shine Tom Chacko appear in key roles in the film. Deepak D Menon handles cinematography while Govind Vasantha composes music for the lines penned by Anwar Ali.

Ranganaath Ravee has been roped in for sound recording. Shafique Mohamed Ali is the editor of the film.
