'Parankimala' to hit theatres this month

The remake of Bharathan’s ‘Parankimala’ is ready to hit theatres this month. The new version is directed by debutante Senan Pallasserry.

The film is produced by Vijin and Thomas Kokkat. Beyon and Vijitha do the lead roles. Jagadeesh, Kalabhavan Mani, and Indrans lend support.

Afsal Yousaf is the music director. R Maniprasad wields the camera for ‘Parankimala’.

The original ‘Parankimala’ was released in 1981 and had Nedumudi Venu, Benny, Achankunju, Rani Padmini and Soorya in its cast list. The movie was an adaptation of a novel by Kakkanadan.
