Pearle Maaney and Adil to lead in 'Kappiri Thuruthu'

The anchors of the reality show Pearle Maaney and Adil Ibrahim play the lead roles in the upcoming movie ‘Kappiri Thuruthu’.

The movie written and directed by Saheer Ali has started rolling. Siddique also does an important role. ‘Kappiri Thuruthu’ is a musical thriller about old Kochi and Kochi's famous singer Mehboob. The movie also covers the life of Urdu poet Mirza Ghalib and his Gazal's.

The cinematography is done by Praveen Chakrapani. ‘Kappiri Thuruthu’ is produced by Ahamed Palapparambil under the banner 20 20 Films.
