'Peruchazhi' to set a record

‘Peruchazhi’ has made the record to be the first Malayalam movie to be shot at the famous Hollywood film studio Universal Studios. The film has an expenditure of Rs 4.5 crores for its shoot in America alone.

The shooting of ‘Peruchazhi’ is progressing in America. Directed by Arun Vaidyanathan, the film has Mohanlal in a varied get up. The movie is a political satire with Mukesh, Vijay Babu, Aju Varghese, Baburaj, Ragini Nandwani, and Pooja Kumar including the cast.

Mohanlal and Mukesh play politicians. Hollywood actor Shaun James also does a prominent role in ‘Peruchazhi’. The movie produced by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas under the banner of Friday Films is being remade in Tamil too.
