Priya Bhavani Shankar plays a scribe in 'Blood Money'

Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar, who was a journalist and a news anchor in a Tamil news channel before turning an actress, is playing a journalist in her upcoming suspense thriller 'Blood Money'.

The film, directed by Sarjun K.M, is produced by Irfan Malik for Emperor Entertainment. The movie will be streamed on Zee5 on December 24. It also features actors Kishore and Shirish in vital roles.

The flick is a sensitive portrayal of the plight of people, who travel abroad in search of a livelihood. It also emphasizes the role of media in bringing about a change in mindset in today's society.

It has screenplay and dialogues by Sankar Dass, music by Satish Ragunathan and cinematography by G. Balamurugan.
