Ranveer Singh all set for an action film with Rohit Shetty

One actor-director combination that Bollywood buffs have been waiting for is that of the super energetic Ranveer Singh and the flamboyant director Rohit Shetty.

And finally, after a year-long speculation, it is confirmed that Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty, after collaborating together on a quirky commercial, are once again coming together for a full-length feature film.

Rohit Shetty confirmed the news at the ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 8’ press conference, the director said, “He (Ranveer Singh) has a great energy and everybody is talking about our energies meeting. I hope everyone likes it. It is an action film. It is a typical massy film. First time, people will see Ranveer performing so many action sequences. Heroine of the film is yet not finalised, we will start working on it after Diwali.”

Praising the actor further, Rohit added, “He is a superstar. His energy is not restricted. He does not think, ‘If I perform in a certain way, what will this or that person think.’ That’s the quality of a superstar. You have to connect with the masses if you have to be a superstar.”

According to sources, as soon as Rohit wraps up ‘Golmaal Again’, he will start the working on the film with Ranveer. Meanwhile, Ranveer is currently busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati.’
