RGV surprises his friends with SMS

Ram Gopal Varma’s (RGV) daughter Revathi is getting married to a fellow doctor Pranav in Hyderabad tomorrow. RGV has kept the function a low-profile one. But his invitation to his friends through SMS has highlighted the funny side of the otherwise serious director.

RGV’s text message reads, “Hey, finally even I couldn’t escape this…my daughter’s getting married on 15th... at 8.45 pm. Please come if you feel like. Not to bless the couple, but to check what kind of a joker I will be looking :-) (sic).”

On Tuesday there was a small get together where the bride and groom’s families met at a city hotel. RGV was present for the ceremony and members of both families were introduced to each other in the presence of the bride and groom.
