5 crore for Rudramma Devi's jewellery

Guna Sekhar, the producer of Anushka's period-drama "Rudhramadevi" has spent a lavish Rs.5 crore on jewellery for the actress who is essaying the role of princess Rani Rudhramadevi in the film.

"From make-up to costumes to jewellery, we want to replicate every thing of that time with authenticity. Therefore, we didn't hesitate to spend so much on jewellery. The effort is worth it," director cum producer Gunasekhar told.

Rana is the male lead. Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Nathalia Kaur, Aditi Chengappa, Hamsa Nandini, Zara Shah, Jayaprakash Reddy will play other important roles. Ajay Vincent is the cinematographer.
