Samantha in Mithran's film

Vishal who is working in Mysskin’s Thupparivaalan will soon be doing a film for newbie Mithran. This film will have Samantha as the heroine. This is the first time that Samantha and Vishal will be seen together on screen.

While there were widespread speculations that Samantha has not been signing any project because of her impending wedding with Naga Chaitanya, this news comes as a surprise. She is also a very popular star in Telugu whose Janatha Garage was much appreciated.

This Mithran project will be funded by Vishal himself for his home banner Vishal Film Factory and will have George Williams as DoP, Ruben as editor. The unit plans to begin their shooting from this month end. Samantha was last seen in Tamil in 24 with Suriya preceded by Vijay’s Theri.
