Sasikumar on working with Bala

Director Bala’s Thara Thappattai will hit the screens for this Pongal 2016. The film stars Sasikumar, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, GM Kumar, producer Suresh and many others. This film is Ilayaraja’s 1000th film and Chezhian has handled the camera for this ambitious project.

Hectic promotion are going on for this film and talking in one of the meets, lead hero Sasikumar says, “It has been an honor to play the lead role in my mentor Bala sir’s film. There is so much to learn from him and I am glad I am a part of this important film on the native art forms of Tamil Nadu.”

On his co-star Varalaxmi, Sasi reveals that it was lively and jovial whenever Varalakshmi was present on the sets. He also adds that she is such a hard working actress and her performance in the film will be noticed. Click the Movie button below for more info:
