Shruti Haasan to sing in Vedalam

We all know that Shruti Haasan is a good singer and has rendered her voice in films like 3, Vaaranam Aayiram, 7aum Arivu to name some. She has also sung along with Vijay in the to-be released Puli, the number being Yaendi Yaendi which has been liked by all.

Looks like she would also do the singing honors in Vedalam, the upcoming film with Ajith directed by Siruthai Siva. This film has Anirudh’s music and the audio is likely to be released on the 26th October on Anirudh’s birthday. The film itself is eying a Diwali release.

It is said that this number is a solo one and was recently shot with the lead pair Ajith and Shruti in Italy. The lyrics will be written by Madhan Karky. Incidentally, this number will be the fourth one this year for Shruti as regards her singing is concerned. Click the Movie button below for more info:
