Simbu's Vaalu clears censors and gets U certificate

Simbu’s Vaalu which was long in the making is finally looking to see the light of the day. The film completed its shooting some time back and went for censor certification yesterday, the 11th of March and has got itself a U certificate.

Simbu has a powerful online presence and the moment his fans came to know about the film being sent for censor certification, they created a hashtag #VaaluCensorDay which was trending yesterday.

With the film clearing its final hurdle, it is all set to hit the screens this month end on 27th of March. Vaalu has Hansika as Simbu’s on screen partner and has Vijaychander as director. Music for the film is composed by Thaman and cinematography by Shakthi and editing by T S Suresh. VTV Ganesh, Santhanam and Bhramanandam play supporting cast.
