Anushka's jewellery and costume costs five crores

Director Gunasekhar is known for his opulence in film making and he is currently shooting for his upcoming period film Rudramadevi, which has Anushka in the lead. The film is being made on a very high budget and it is being shot in the 3D format. The film has completed about 35% of the shooting.

A special set has been erected in Annapurna Studios and the next schedule will start on July 3. Thota Tharani is the art director of the film and Illaiyaraja has scored the music. Neeta Lulla is the costume designer for the film and she had earlier done Jodha Akbar in Hindi.

According to reports Gunasekhar has spent about five crores on Anushka’s jewellery for the film. He is hopeful that the jewellery designs in the film will become as popular as those in Jodha Akbar.

The film also stars Rana, Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Zara Shah, Nathalia Kaur and Suman in the lead roles.
