Vaalu for Pongal?

Hero Simbu has confirmed that Vaalu will make it to the theatres for Pongal next year! The film has been in the making for more than a year and half. The film is getting delayed for reasons best known to the makers. But now it seems the film will definitely make it to the theatres for Pongal.

Vaalu was supposed to be released for Deepavali, but Simbu preferred to opt out of the race and give way for his favourite star Ajith’s Arrambam. Now it is reported that Simbu is taking all efforts to release Vaalu in early January, 2014. But unfortunately for Simbu, here again Ajith’s Veeram is getting ready. We need to wait and see if he will be in the race or opt out of it once again.

Vaalu's audio will release in December and the film's release date will be announced during the audio launch event. It is also heard that the actor is eyeing on a solo release and is making the necessary arrangements for that. Directed by debutant Vijay Chandar, the film has Hansika in the lead role opposite Simbu and Santhanam in an important role.
