Vairamuthu and Yuvan to join hands

Ace lyricist Vairamuthu and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja will join together for Seenu Ramasamy’s upcoming movie, Idam Porul Eval. While Yuvan will compose the music for the movie, Vairamuthu will pen the lyrics. Idam Porul Evalis being produced by director Lingusamy’s Tirrupathi Brothers banner.

Vairamuthu’s association with Seenu Ramasamy started with the National award winning movie Thenmerku Paruvakaatru and it was at the insistence of the director that Yuvan decided to work with Vairamuthu.

It has to be recalled that Vairamuthu and Illaiyaraja were good friends but parted ways for reasons unknown. Together they had created some magical songs and music lovers are waiting the duo to join again. However, this move by Yuvan, Illaiyaraja’s son to rope in Vairamuthu and work with him, has come as sweet news to the music lovers. It is reported that before confirming Vairamuthu, Yuvan had taken his father’s permission to work with the lyricist.
