Varalaxmi in Vijay 62

We had recently reported that Radha Ravi has been signed on for Vijay 62. Now, there is an important addition to the star cast.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who has been doing many meaningful films, has bagged a crucial role in Vijay 62 directed by AR Murugadoss. Announcing this in their social media handle, producer Sun Pictures tweeted, “@varusarath will be acting for the first time in Thalapathy Vijay’s Movie. #Thalapathy62WithSunPictures”. It has been speculated that Varu would be seen as a baddie in the film. There are two more villains, Radha Ravi and politician turned actor Pazha Karuppaiah in the flick.

Right now Varalaxmi is busy with Sandakozhi 2, Maari 2, Shakthi, Ammayi, Mr. Chandramouli, Kanni Rasi and Echcharikkai. While Keerthi Suresh plays Vijay’s love interest for the second time after Bairavaa, AR Rahman will be composing the music with Girish Gangadharan cranking the camera.
