Vijay 61 titled as Mersal

The much awaited information finally arrived last evening as per the promise of producers Thenandal Studios Limited. They revealed the title and the first look of Vijay 61 in their official Twitter handle. The film is titled as Mersal which in Chennai parlance means shocked or impressed.

The film directed by Atlee is the 100th production venture of the production house which features Vijay in the lead along with S J Suryah, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha, Nithya Menen, Vadivelu, Kovai Sarala, Sathyan, Yogi Babu and others.

The film has been shot in exquisitely erected sets in Chennai along with exotic locales in Europe. The team plans to have the grand audio launch in the month of August. AR Rahman scores music while Vijayendra Prasad and Ramanagiri Vaasan have penned the screenplay for Mersal which is expected to be out for Diwali 2017. Click the Movie button below for more info:
