Vijay in a police avatar again?

Vijay has begun his next, Vijay 61 being directed by Atlee. The film has Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha, SJ Suryah, Sathish and others. Initially Jyothika was supposed to play an important role but since she walked out of the project, Nithya Menen has been roped in to the film.

The film began its shooting a few days ago in Chennai and it has been reported that Vijay may be donning on the Khaki again. There are also reports that he may be doing a dual role although there is no confirmation on the same. The first schedule is a short one and the unit is planning to go to the UK for the next.

Vijay was also seen in a rural avatar in a dhoti and shirt with a twirled moustache at the sets. If he will be doing a cop role, it would be the fourth time after Pokkiri, Theri and Jilla. Click the Movie button below for more info:
