Vijay Sethupathy opts out of Sangudevan

Vijay Sethupathy, who is now one of the most popular actors in Kollywood, with a string of successes and with as many as 7 films in hand has apparently stalled his ambitious project titled ‘Sangudevan’.

According to sources, Vijay Sethupathy who has started the shoot for the film which is being directed by Sudhakar, in a village near Madurai, has put the project on hold.

Vijay Sethupathy had been sporting Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thevar Magan’ look for ‘Sangudevan’ which had generated a lot of interest among the audience. However, after shooting for a week or so, he has decided to stay away from it. It is heard that Vijay Sethupathy temporarily stalled the shoot in order to fulfill his other project commitments.

‘Sangudevan’ is said to be a betrayal drama and had Vijay Sethupathy and Dhansika in the lead.

Meanwhile Vijay Sethupathy is awaiting the release of his latest rom-com Rummy and the film’s audio is being launched today.
