Vijay thanks Modi

Recently fishermen from Tamil Nadu were sentenced to death by the Sri Lankan government. But, the timely intervention of the central government led to the pardoning and release of the fishermen.

Thanking the Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi, Ilayathalapathy Vijay had written a letter which says, “Thank you very much for all your efforts that went in to saving the lives of five fishermen. Your efforts and political endeavors are highly praiseworthy. The freedom of these fishermen not just made their families happy but the entire Tamil Nadu is happy because of this.”

Vijay also has a plea to the Prime Minister. He says in his letter, “These fishermen’s lives are completely dependent on their trips everyday to the sea. In such a case efforts should be made for their protection so that they can carry on their work without any fear or harassment.”
