Vikram's Irumugan to hit the screens in July

Director Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame is currently directing Chiyaan Vikram for a film titled Irumugan which is produced by Shibu Thameens. This film features Nayanthara and Nithya Menen in the leads with Karunakaran and others in the supporting cast. RD Rajasekar handles cinematography while Harris Jayaraj scores music.

Vikram celebrated his 50th birthday on the 17th of April and the crew as a kind of a birthday gift released a one minute teaser of the film which was riveting to say the least.

As per the director in his social media page, the film is 60% complete and has moved on to the next phase wherein Vikram will don on the next look in the film. Sources say that he may be doing the role of a transgender in the film. The crew is also keen to have the film released in July. Click the Movie button below for more info:
