Vishwaroopam 2 may release before Kaala

It was announced that Rajinikanth starrer Kaala will release on the 27th of April.

But now it looks like actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2 will

release before Rajinikanth’s Kaala.

Because of the ongoing strike in the Tamil film industry, there’s a backlog of films

waiting for the NOC from Tamil Film Producers Council to apply for CBFC

Certification. Kaala, directed by Ranjith and produced by Dhanush and distributed by Lyca Productions, is one among those. According to sources TFPC has given its clearance but the film is yet to be censored.

Meanwhile, Vishwaroopam 2 has been given U/A Certification and is ready for

release. Insiders say that if Rajini's Kaala is not releasing as planned, Kamal has

decided to bring his Vishwaroopam 2 to theatres sooner. It seems to be waited
