Vivegam release pushed to August

Thala Ajith’s ongoing film titled as Vivegam is being directed by Siva who has directed the Vaali actor in Veeram and Vedalam. The film is being bankrolled by Sathyajyothi films and has music of Anirudh Ravichander.

The film is being shot in overseas locales such as Bulgaria and other parts of Europe. The unit has finished almost 75% of shooting and would soon be leaving for Bulgaria for the final schedule.

Earlier on, the unit had planned to release the film for the Ramzan weekend. But now it looks like Ajith fans will have to wait for some more time as the film will be ready only during the month of August. Reports suggest that the film may either release for Independence Day weekend for August 10th or for the Vinayagar Chaturthi weekend on August 24th. However, since Mohan Raja-Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikkaran is announced to hit the screens on the 24th, Vivegam team may consider 10th August. An official announcement is awaited.
