Vivek Oberoi as Ajith's villain

Thala 57 being produced by Sathyajyothi Films and directed by Siruthai Siva is more than 50% complete. Still, the film is not titled and there are many names being suggested to play the baddie for Ajith like actor Prasanna, Sasikumar and a few.

Finally, it looks like the villain spot is filled in. It would be none other than the Bollywood hero, Vivek Oberoi. He has earlier done the Tamil film Ratha Charithiram directed by Ram Gopal Verma.

Thala 57 has Kajal Agarwal, Akshara Haasan, Karunakaran, Thambi Ramaiah and others. Anirudh is scoring music, Ruben is behind cuts and Vetri is handling camera. The film started its schedule in Europe and is right now filming in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The unit is planning for a mid 2017 release. Click the Movie button below for more info:
