Woah! Is Salman Khan planning to launch Mouni Roy?

The ‘Tubelight’ actor is known to play a Godfather to many young talents, who aspire to be a part of Bollywood. Not only has Salman Khan launched many actors, musicians, singers etc., but has also guided them in their careers.

And now if the grapevine is to be believed, Salman Khan is planning to launch television actress Mouni Roy in a Hindi film.

Apparently, Salman Khan believes that Mouni, who is extremely popular on tube for her serial ‘Naagin’, has a lot of untapped potential. According to sources, Salman is keen to introduce Mouni as a leading lady in films. The source revealed, “Salman had seen the same spark in Sonakshi Sinha when he launched her in ‘Dabangg.’ He sees Mouni as being extremely desi, a traditional Indian heroine draped in a saree, dancing to a Bharat Natyam beat, like Sonakshi. He is looking at launching Mouni in one of his forthcoming home productions to be produced Salman Khan Production.”

Well, Mouni Roy certainly has the looks and the talent to be a part of a Hindi film. Can’t wait for an official announcement from the superstar himself.
