'I don't want to do Irudhi Suttru sequel', Sudha Kongara

Irudhi Suttru has been declared as a commercial hit and director Sudha Kongara is very happy. The film about women boxing has Madhavan in the lead with Ritika Singh as the heroine. The film is said to be remade in Telugu with Venkatesh reprising Madhavan’s role.

When asked about if she would be doing the sequel of this film, as sequels appear to be the fashion of the day, Sudha says an emphatic NO. She adds, “I had struggled for more than five years for the research for this film. I can’t see myself doing the same thing again”.

About her favorite heroines in recent times, Sudha says that Sai Pallavi of Premam fame is her favorite and in Hindi it is Deepika Padukone.
