Sachin audio set to overtake Chandramukhi

Chennai, April 20 (IANS): Album sales of "Sachin" are set to overtake that of "Chandramukhi", and its one number, "Va Va Va En Thalaiva", sung by Shankar Mahadevan, has already become a hot favourite.

"Chandramukhi": (Music by Vidyasagar); "Devuda Devuda" by S.P. Balasubramaniam was the only huge hit with listeners till the film hit the theatres. Now that the film is out, all the other songs have also become very popular.

"Sachin": (Music by Devisri Prasad); "Maayaavi" was a disappointment but the compositions are quite interesting. What has hit the target is "Va Va Va En Thalaiva" by Shankar Mahadevan. Vijay's "Vaadi Vaadi" is a huge success. This album is sure to reach the top spot soon.

"Mumbai Xpress": (Music by Ilaiyaraja); "Mumbai Xpress" is not exactly a musical film and so there are no exceptionally good songs from the maestro. "Yelae Nee Yettipoo" is one song that is topping the charts these days

"Ram": (Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja); The film's music grows on you, and even after hearing it for the umpteenth time, you will not get tired. While the "Boom Boom" song is a favourite with youngsters, elders prefer the lullaby "Aarariraro" by Yesudas.
