Pathemari Malayalam Movie

‘Pathemari’ written and directed by National Award winning director Salim Ahmed is the account of an average Malayali's immigrant life in Gulf.

The movie revolves around an NRI named Pallikkal Narayanan, played by Mammootty. The film develops through the various life stages of Pallikkal Narayanan.

As the tagline goes, ‘Pathemari’ is the journey of survival of Gulf Malayalis. ‘Pathemari’ narrates both the hardships and happiness that Gulf life has provided to Malayalees. The period from 1960 to the present form the context of the story.

The sound recording of the movie is done by Oscar Winning sound designer Resool Pookkutty. The music is scored by Bijibal. Madhu Ambatt is the cinematographer.

Jewel Mary is the heroine. She does the role of Nalini, Narayanan's wife. The film also features Sreenivasan, Joy Mathew, Balachandra Menon, Salim Kumar, Siddique, Shaheen Siddique, Yavanika Gopalakrishnan, and Saju Navodaya.
